When it comes to fashion in the land Down Under, Australia has fast become the crème de la crème for designers and brands alike not only on our shores but right around the globe. Sure, we aren't known for the makings of the High Street, but what we lack in that department we make up for in true homegrown talent who know how to sew a darn good pair of trousers.

Australian Fashion Week made its debut back in 1996. Our first taste from the Australian fashion designers began in the early 90s with Alex Perry and his glamorous gowns, and Ksubi, who still takes us to denim heaven season after season. Fast forward to today and we have the originals in the mix with an added array of labels to thank for our wardrobe of wonders. There's Maurie & Eve and C/MEO Collective, the Sydney born turned international stars Sass & Bide and Zimmermann, and so much more.
